Colorado has an average of 300 sunny days a year. That is ALL DAY sunny. Thursday it was beautiful – in the mid 40s; we had the grandbabies outdoor shopping in their strollers, it was a great day. That night the snow began. It snowed through the night and all day yesterday! It was s-t-i-l-l snowing this morning! We ended up with about 21” of snow. It was a record for Denver in February, our 6th most snowy month. This felt more like a wet March snow. I wonder, what will next month will bring?
A plow just drove by while I was trying to photograph a quilt for Etsy – WITH HIS BLADE UP! What the????? Hey, you!!! Denver scrapes streets at 12”, but in the 34 years we have lived here, we have been scraped twice… ‘nough said. At least it is sunny with bright blue skies now! It is soooo pretty and sparkly white!
