What???? Stitch!!!

So I’m talking with my daughter Aimee on the phone this morning and look up to see this:

Stitch is NOT on our hardwood floors, noooooo…  she is laying ON TOP of my coffee table!  Apparently, that is where the sun is!  She looked up, only partially interested mind you, as if to say, “Yes?” and put her head back down.  I certainly did not disturb her!  Needless to say, the dog was moved to the floor and the table was moved back to its usual place.

I cannot believe she’d do that!  Her attitude makes me wonder if she has done that before!  Little stinker!  Shhhhhh, don’t tell hubby!

Piper and Grandpa

GP1000479ee is it fun watching Grandpa with his grankids!  Terry was always a great dad.  He is just as great a grandfather!

Piper and Grandpa love to take walks in “her” pink car we keep parked in our house.  The delight is even greater when they take my little doggie, Stitch, with them.  Can you see how excited Stitch is to go?  Piper squeals in delight as they go on their way.  Grandpa beams.

I’ve wanted to take Piper in her car to the mall instead of a stroller and see what she thinks.  We’ve got to try it!  Don’t you think so, too?

Can you see the dolly in the hood?  Check out Piper’s hand on the leash, grin.  Gee, we love this little girl!

We love you, Grandpa!

Skunked!

A dictionary might describe "skunked" as outwitted or defeated, you could even be skunked if you are outscored in a sport. Trust me, it can also mean you have been doused with the fetid odor by a member of the weasel family commonly referred to as a skunk!

Meet Stitch. She is my little sewing buddy and general partner in all things around the house. Stitch is a sweet little Boston Terrier with a curious propensity for finding trouble. Last week Stitch and a skunk had a confrontation in our backyard and I am pretty sure that Stitch got the back end of the deal! All in all it could have been worse, the skunk didn't go in the doggy door and we found out that diluted ketchup does suffice if you do not have any tomato juice on hand!  ~ Robbie
