I have found so much enjoyment visiting blogs all over the world, partly in thanks to Pinterest. Many times the blogs generously offer tutorials and sometimes I have purchased patterns via PayPal. Gotta love PayPal especially for buying out of the country!
Here are a couple of the tutorials I made this week. I’ll show you more of them later.
This little pouch is just sweet as sweet can be! I pulled the lining a bit forward and top stitched it so it just peeked out on the front. I used a soft smooth canvas for the outside, jute ties and a vintage button. I just love this bag! You can find the tutorial here at a very very very nice blog called Le blog de Plume de lin. Be sure to visit and see all the lovely things there!
Here is my bag:
This is little keeper is so cute!!! Take a look at this tutorial I found called “Scrappy Organizer” at Where the Orchids Grow. It is a darling blog, by the way, with some of the cutest bits and patterns ever! If you haven’t visited, you just have to!
I’ve love lanyards and just had to make a couple for myself! I made a long one for my camera and the short one for my keys. Here is the Key Leash Tutorial I found and used at Designs by Loft Creations by Stephanie Dunphy. Here is Stephanie’s picture, it is a lot better than my picture, sigh… You wouldn’t think it would be hard to take a simple picture!
This is a fun little pouch using a measuring tape for the closure. It was quick and fun to make using the tutorial at Just Another Hang Up. Thanks, Suzanne, for a great tutorial and sharing your great blog! This was so fun to make and the results were perfect. Here is a link to her tutorial:
I’ll share more projects later, have a great day,
Robbie Marie
